Last week, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it had approved the first over-the-counter (OTC) home-sample collection kit for the coronavirus. The coronavirus test collection kit — LabCorp Pixel kit — is permitted for use by people aged 18 years and above and can be used without a prescription.
