Sapirstein also shared that the company is continuing the development of MS1819 as a potential treatment for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (“EPI”) in patients with cystic fibrosis (“CF”) and is anticipating to release topline data from its Phase 2 combination therapy trial using MS1819 in combination with pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (“PERT”), which is the current standard of care.
