The company completed shipment of the first batch of CLD-101—comprising allogeneic neural stem cells loaded with the oncolytic adenovirus CRAd-S-pk7—to support the trial, which builds on promising Phase 1 results in 12 patients published in The Lancet Oncology. The physician-led and NCI-sponsored study, headed by Dr Maciej Lesniak and Dr Roger Stupp and funded by the NIH/NCI SPORE, aims to evaluate a multiple-dose regimen that could transform brain tumor treatment.
