Onco-Innovations (CBOE CA: ONCO) (OTCQB: ONNVF) announced the initiation of polymer process development and analytical characterization activities by Nanosoft Polymers in support of ONC010, the company’s lead nanoparticle-formulated Polynucleotide Kinase Phosphatase inhibitor. The work includes polymer synthesis optimization, characterization methodology development, molecular weight assessment, purification strategy refinement and manufacturing scalability assessments as part of Onco-Innovations’ chemistry, manufacturing and controls strategy.

The company said the activities are intended to establish a scalable, reproducible and analytically characterized polymer platform to support future formulation, manufacturing, regulatory and clinical development.
